Palestine Music Conference

Welcome to Palestine Music Conference (PMC), a groundbreaking event that marks its inaugural edition in the summer of 2023. Our mission is to unite all stakeholders in the music industry, fostering dialogue and addressing the pressing needs it faces. With a specific focus on legal frameworks, digital innovation, community engagement, and music education, PMC aims to ensure the long-term sustainability of the music industry in Palestine as a whole.

The conference program extends to the summer of 2023 and includes various components. As a starting point, the conference will host a series of workshops and seminars for a month, leading up to the two main conference days (September 20, 21, 2023) at A. M.  Qattan Foundation, Ramallah.

In addition, the conference will publish a book of research papers produced with the aim of providing a better understanding of the state and needs of the industry and increasing knowledge production of the music industry.

Our ultimate goal is to provide a shared and secure space for all music industry stakeholders, fostering knowledge exchange, data generation, and the formation of alliances that contribute to the industry’s growth and development.

PMC is organized by Jafra Productions in partnership with Birzeit University, Dar Al-Kalima University, Ramallah Municipality, Edward Said National Conservatory of Music, Alkamndjati and SACEM, Drosos and Bank Of Palestine.

With support from the AFD group.
