Shaden, Naser and Michel met back in 2018 in a jam session, driven by a love for jazz and fusion, alkalsaat emerged with a vision for innovative and contemporary sounds. Combining guitar, violin, and drums, their music evokes a blend reminiscent of Snarky Puppy and Vulfpeck. It's both danceable and melodic, striking a balance between spontaneity and structure, seamlessly merging jazz and fusion with a modern twist on instrumentation and sound. The result of a four-year journey is their debut album which was recorded during their tour “زوم غسيل” in summer of '23. This seven-track collection invites listeners into the vibrant realm of alkalsaat, guiding them through a rich tapestry of musical landscapes—from soulful psychedelic jazz to ethereal dreams, transitioning into a lively dance club atmosphere, and concluding with an Arabic dance that will leave you grooving with a serious stank face. “alkalsaat” album will be released in Spring 25' with Levantine Music.
