Karim Hamdan, known artistically as $keem, is a 23-year-old Palestinian rapper and lyricist from Nablus. Since his debut in 2019, $keem has carved a unique space that fuses raw emotion, political resistance, and unfiltered storytelling — turning his music into a weapon of truth.
Blending trap, hip-hop, and experimental soul, his sound is cinematic, bold, and deeply personal. $keem doesn’t follow trends — he challenges them. Every bar holds weight, born from memory, pain, or protest. Inspired by global legends like Kanye West, Kid Cudi, and Frank Ocean, as well as rising voices from the region, $keem’s music reflects the reality of the unheard and unseen.
Over the years, he’s shared stages with some of the region’s top acts, including The Synaptik, Shbash, Illiam, Sakt, and Jude Heib. His 2023 EP Numero Uno, featuring JayJay, marked a major milestone, with tracks like “Bonjour” and “Cartier” becoming underground hits.
Now, $keem is preparing to release his debut album in December 2025 — a powerful and intimate project exploring identity, exile, rage, and rebirth. It’s more than music — it’s a statement. A reminder that even if the world forgets Palestine, its voice will still echo through the speakers.
