This masterclass focused on introducing musicians to the way programming works in the music world. It provided them with tips on how to tick all the boxes that international booking agents and curators look for in an act by optimizing their profiles and the way they present themselves as musicians.
ABOUT B&B International Music Festival
Beirut and Beyond was founded in 2013 as a platform where collaborations, growth and development of the music scene can take place, in partnership with Oslo World who are still supporting to this very day. The partnership with Oslo World gave B&B access to the international music scene, credibility for global partners, and transmitted know-how and expertise in programming and producing.
Over the last 2 years, B&B morphed into an entity rather than just a festival, in response to the socio-economic situation in Lebanon. Beirut and Beyond’s scope of work is no longer limited to their yearly showcase festival; it is now also focused on supporting the local scene through a series of development programs that include workshops, residencies, and support programs.
